Saving Money With Coupons

These days people are looking to save money anyway they can. Lots of people are discovering that coupons are the answer. Coupons are used to save money on grocery store items, online purchases, health and beauty items and just about anything else you can think of. If you look hard enough you can save money on just about anything.

One of the best ways to get started is to always fill your prescriptions with a pharmacy coupon. Many people don't realize the amount of money that can be saved this way. If you are able to get a $10-$30 store gift card each time you transfer a coupon, isn't that worth the extra 5 minutes in line? Look in your Sunday newspapers for these special coupons in the store ads, not the coupon pullouts. You can also ask the pharmacist. Most are more than happy to give them to you if they have them.

Another really important way to maximize your savings is to use coupons with store sales. Here is a perfect example of how I was able to maximize and get free soda this week:

2 liters of Sprite and Sprite Zero work out to FREE using the coupons in the Olympics books found in the stores. My store has a HUGE display of the coupons right in the front of the store. All Coke two liters are Buy 3, Get 3 Free.

5 sprite zero, 1 sprite 1.89*6=11.34

(3) b1g1 free coupon=-5.67
b3g3 free store=-5.67
Total price=0

These sorts of deals happen every week. I would suggest joining one of the many free coupon forums out there so that you can find out which items are cheap or free with coupons in your area each week. My favorite free coupon forum is The Coupon Cupboard.
